TechGuider / Privacy
Website privacy notice
This notice explains how TechGuider handles website visits and initial enquiries. Workshops and consulting projects may have separate information-handling arrangements agreed with you.
Updated 17 September 2026.
01 / Scope
The information you choose to share.
TechGuider is based in Sydney and provides AI training and automation consultancy. If you email or phone us, the information you provide may include your name, contact details, business, requested service and message. We use that information to respond and discuss your enquiry.
Please keep initial enquiries to what we need to understand your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, health information, client documents or other confidential material before we agree a suitable channel and purpose.
02 / Contact
Email, telephone and website forms.
The contact page provides email and telephone links. Opening an email link creates a draft in your own email application; you decide whether to send it. Your email or phone provider also handles that communication under its own terms.
When you submit the website enquiry form, Supabase processes and stores the contact details and message you provide, your permission to respond, the enquiry reference, source website and browser information. Resend handles the enquiry notification to TechGuider and a confirmation to the address you entered. Our enquiry inbox uses Google Workspace.
Pending enquiry details stay in memory while the page is open, so a retry can use the same reference. They are not saved in browser storage. The service uses hashed email and connection identifiers to limit repeated submissions and reduce misuse. The form asks for your permission to use the details to respond.
Making an enquiry does not sign you up to a newsletter. The website has no newsletter subscription form.
03 / Browsing
What happens when a page loads.
The website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting services may process connection information such as your IP address, requested page, browser details and request time to deliver and protect the site. Protected review previews may also use access cookies. Contact TechGuider if you need information about current provider logging and retention arrangements.
Website images, films and typefaces are served from the same site. Loading the Inter typeface does not contact Google Fonts.
Optional Google Analytics runs on the public website only after you allow it. It measures page visits, referral sources, email and phone link clicks, workshop overview downloads and enquiries the server confirms were received and notified. A contact link click does not confirm that a message was sent or a call was made. The site sends fixed event labels and recognised page paths, without enquiry fields, enquiry references, full link text, URL query text or fragments. Analytics uses cookies and its own client identifier; TechGuider does not supply a custom user identifier or advertising data. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser and can be changed using Analytics choices when analytics is enabled. Declining leaves analytics off; withdrawing stops later tracking but cannot recall events already sent.
04 / Handling
Access, storage and limits.
Vercel hosts the website and Google Workspace handles our email inbox. When the online form is enabled, Supabase stores website enquiries in a project configured in Sydney, and Resend handles notification and confirmation emails. Optional visitor measurement uses Google Analytics. Hosting, email, analytics and other provider processing may occur outside Australia.
For current retention periods, who can access your enquiry, or further information about provider processing locations, contact tech@techguider.com.au. You can also ask us to review or delete enquiry information we hold.
Agree an appropriate communication channel before sharing sensitive business material. The access, security and deletion arrangements for a workshop or consulting project should be recorded in its scope.
When we agree a project, its scope should identify permitted tools, information sources, authorised recipients, human review and what happens to information at the end. A workshop demonstration is not permission to upload another person’s confidential information to an AI tool.
05 / Your request
Ask a question or raise a concern.
Contact tech@techguider.com.au to ask what enquiry information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask about deletion, or make a privacy complaint. Describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information.
Brooke Boielle, TechGuider’s founder, is the contact for these requests. A deletion request may need to be considered alongside applicable recordkeeping obligations. Include a way to contact you so we can discuss the request.
If a concern remains unresolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains privacy complaint options and which matters it can handle.
06 / Updates
Keep the notice aligned with the website.
External links lead to services with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information there. We will update the date and explain material changes to this notice when the website’s information-handling arrangements change.
